  Oh, Aurelio's.... a Homewood fixture. Come for the homey ambiance, stay for the SUPER SALTY PIZZA. The food ain't gourmet, but there's isn't a more "Chicago" experience outside the city proper. Lots of kids, and LITERALLY the same claw game that was there when I was growing up in Homewood 20 years ago.

  Love this place. Great pizza but save room for the warm cookie and ice cream. 1/2 lb of cookie dough with ice cream and whip cream to top it all off. Very cool atmosphere, nice wait staff. Weird entrance though, parking is on the opposite side of building. Great areas for small private parties. Close to public transportation (Metra).
